Loud Flasher for my F100

Image
I found that the truck is so loud I am not hearing the American Autowire stock CEC 552/536 Flasher. After much research I opted for the Advance Auto Parts Novita LF12 Electromechanical Flasher. It states that it is 5 times louder and it is. Reminds me of the old 55 Chevy trucks we used to drive . Nice!!

1966 F100 Wiper Blades- Trico 33-150

You would think it was easy buying refills for the wipers.. Dennis Carpenter wants and arm and these young kids at these parts store look at you like you have three heads when asking. While online I did find some Trico Classics @ Oreilly Auto Parts. My truck had 15" blades some showed 13" for this truck. That is why you see that these do not fit my truck. Not sure if the later models had 15" but they work fine.   One (1) speed wiper with Rain-X ..it's fine.

One tip I saw was when someone used a solder gun to make a hole in the carper before drilling. This stops the carpet from catching and "running"..
