Engine gets test fitted.
Mated the 350 and the Camaro 5 speed. I am using the 15% tilt bell housing which tilts transmission. The shifter also tilts back 15% so it would sit straight.
The cross member between the cab mounts needed modified to allow room for the transmission. Going to add some square tubing to stiffen.
So I found the original trans cross member and added a plate and opened the other side to get to the trans bolt.

The location of the shifter was a pleasant surprise. Still some metal to trim rear of the shifter.
